What to see in Troulos
Skíathos or Eskíates (in Greek, σκιάθος, in Latin, Sciathus) is a small Greek island of the northern Aegean Sea. Located near Skópelos, Scíatos is the westernmost of the group of the spued islands, located about 35 km from the island of Eubea. To its west is the continental part of Greece, along with Magnesia, whose peninsula is, in front of Cape Sengiade, about 5 km. His name goes back to antiquity.
The island has the city of Skíathos and the communities of Koukounaries, Kanapitsa, Vromolimnos and Troulos. The city of Skíathos is a port that houses small vessels and the transforder services from which to connect to skip, voices, Konstantinos agios and the rest of Greece.
The Municipality of Skíathos includes the islands of Tsougriá and Repio, and has a total area of 49,898 km². Its major cities are Skíathos (4988 inhabitants in 2001), χánemos (195), Kalývia (179), Troúlos (159), and Koukounariés (126).
